I was about to sink into Peter's eyes if it wasn't for Erica, roughly tugging on my sleeve. "AnaTolia! Seriously, we have to get a hearing aid for you to survive. What if something was falling on you and you couldn't hear?" I blocked out the rest of her rant as my eyes followed the screaming girls, who took off to the park.
"AnaTolia!" I hated it when someone says my full name. I prefer to be called Ana. "Don't tell me you're smitten by him, are you?" I shook my head in disdain. "Like I would." I shot back. Grabbing my knapsack and my cell, I told my two best friends that I should be going. "Analiese would have a fit if I don't drive her to the theater." I explained. That is one disadvantage to having a younger sister, driving her everywhere.
I then decided to take a shortcut through the park. As I started to saunter under the towering oak tree, a hand grabbed me from behind, covering my mouth in the process. I squirmed and floundered, trying to attack the assailant.
"Shh!" Was all I got in reply. I opened my eyes to see the same emerald green eyes I saw a few minutes earlier. Peter removed his hand but kept my head down low. From all I can see, I guessed that we were behind a bush. "What is-" He then placed his hand back. Before I could scream, a horde of girls ran past us, frantically looking for Peter. The Peter that was keeping me right at that moment.
As soon as the noise died down, he let go and gave out a sigh of relief. "You have no right to keep me hostage, even if you are famous." I started. Peter looked at me incredulously, it was like he didn't expect me to start out like that. "Huh. Funny, I thought you would go screaming all around the place." He said with a laugh.
I then became annoyed. "You should know that all girls aren't like that. And I happen to be one of them." As I started walking away, Peter then grabbed my arm and said, "I need to talk to you. It's about something important."
